Welcome to ManageBac+

Everything students need to know to start using ManageBac+ for the IB Diploma Programme (DP) or Career-related Programme (CP), with quick access to the most useful Help Centre resources.

Whether you are using ManageBac+ for the first time or need a refresher, this guide brings together key Help Centre articles to help you get started and make the most of the platform.

Overview

As a student, you can access your classes, year group, and any activity or interest groups you have joined. Within your classes you can:

  • View unit plan summaries.
  • Submit coursework and assignments.
  • Participate in class discussions.
  • Access class files and calendars.

Your available classes, year group, groups, assignments, and resources are managed by your school and may differ depending on your programme and enrolment.

Key Resources

Signing in & accessing your account

To help protect your ManageBac+ account and school data, choose a strong password that is difficult to guess but easy for you to remember. A pass phrase made up of several unrelated words is recommended. Avoid saving passwords on shared or public computers.

Visit the ManageBac+ login page and sign in using your school email address.

Navigating ManageBac+

Your Dashboard is the default landing page after signing in. It displays personalised information based on your year group, classes, and activity groups, including upcoming deadlines and calendar events.

You can also use the global search bar and Quick Add menu to quickly navigate around your account. On mobile devices, coursework can also be scanned and submitted directly from the app.

ManageBac+ supports your day-to-day learning by giving you access to programme requirements, coursework, portfolios, assessments, and communication with your teachers and advisors.
