Viewing Task deadlines & Submitting Coursework

Viewing Upcoming & Completed Tasks  

Via the Tasks & Deadlines tab  

Navigate to Tasks & Deadlines on the left menu. There you will see all upcoming & completed tasks from the various classes & year groups you are a part of.

You can filter by class or year group on the right:

Via the Classes Tab

Navigate to Classes > Select your class > Tasks & Units > View All Tasks. Here you can see the upcoming tasks as well as the completed tasks.

You can see the colour-coded Task Categories and the weighting of each type of tasks on the right navigation panel.

If you scroll down, you will be able to see the upcoming and completed tasks of the class.

Uploading Coursework Submissions to your Task dropbox

After clicking on a task, you'll be able to see further information about the task.

If your teacher wants you to submit the task online, the 'Dropbox' headings will appear on the page. Click Upload Submission to send your file to your teacher.

Click on Choose File to select a file from your computer and click Upload Files.

Select the Add From GDrive button if your school has Google Drive uploads enabled to select a file directly from your GDrive folder.

Completing Google Doc Tasks

Accessing the GDoc

Navigate to the Task and click on the GDoc template linked to the Task to access the linked template. This will open the GDoc template in a new tab in your browser.

Once your task is complete, go ahead and click Submit Coursework so your document can be annotated via the Annotations tab. Make sure to complete your task before the deadline because your editing permissions will be removed from the document after the due date.

Troubleshooting

If you're having trouble accessing the Google Templates on ManageBac+, please first log in to your Google account in the browser on the device that you are using. When refreshing the Task page on ManageBac+, you should then be able to access the Google Templates.

If you are using the ManageBac+ app, please ensure you are logged in to the GDrive app with the same account e-mail address as your ManageBac+ e-mail address. 

 

Completing Student Discussion Tasks

Via Class > Tasks & Units > Select Task

You can post (1) Comments or reply to existing (2) Discussions when opening a Discussion Task from the Task list in your Class. 

All Comments and Replies are visible to all members of the Class. A Student Discussion Task cannot contain private Comments, they are all public. 

Via Class > Discussions

Students can also access all Student Discussion Tasks discussions in the Event Discussions section of the Discussions page of their class. 

 

Reviewing Annotations

Navigate to the task and click View Teacher Feedback to see their annotations.

You are able to add annotations using the annotations toolbar buttons and reply to annotations made by your teacher.
