Assigning Community Engagement (MYP) advisors

Quick answer

For one student, go to Year Group > Community Engagement, select the student and assign an advisor under Members on the right. For many students, open the year group's Members tab and use Add Members > Community Engagement Advisors or Bulk Assign Students.

Assigning Community Engagement (MYP) advisors

For coordinators assigning advisors to MYP students for Community Engagement (formerly Service as Action), one at a time or in bulk.

Teacher and advisor accounts must exist before they appear in the advisor lists.

Assign an advisor to one student

  1. Go to Year Group > Community Engagement and select the student from the roster.

  2. Under Members on the right, assign the advisor. You also see the student's current advisor here, if they have one.

Assign advisors to several students

  1. Open the year group's Members tab, select Add Members, then Community Engagement Advisors.

  2. Choose an advisor for each student from the lists, then select Save Changes.

Assign advisors by import

Use this to assign Community Engagement and Homeroom advisors from a spreadsheet.

  1. On the year group's Members tab, select Bulk Assign Students.

  2. Select Download our CSV template and fill in the required fields.

  3. Save the file as a CSV, upload it and select Next.
