Check the setup requirements

Before enabling the integration, confirm that users who need access in both systems meet the following requirements:

  1. Each user must exist in both ManageBac+ and Infiniti.
  2. Each user’s Infiniti username must match their ManageBac+ email address, or their Infiniti primary email address must match their ManageBac+ email address.
  3. If auto profiling is required, each user’s Infiniti System Admin ID must match their ManageBac+ system admin ID.

Enable the integration in Infiniti

As an administrator in Infiniti, go to Settings > Settings > Integration > ManageBac.

  1. Enable Authentication via LaunchPad if you want to use Single Sign On.
  2. Enable Use ManageBac API if you want Infiniti to retrieve curriculum tags from ManageBac+.
  3. Click Save.

Use curriculum tags

Curriculum tags are attributes pulled from ManageBac+. They may include academic programmes, subject groupings, subject names, and classes configured in your ManageBac+ account.

Link accounts using Single Sign On

To connect a user’s Infiniti and ManageBac+ accounts for Single Sign On:

  1. Log in to Infiniti using the user’s usual credentials or existing SSO method.
  2. In the page header, click Launchpad.
  3. Enter the user’s ManageBac+ email address and password.
  4. Choose Infiniti to complete the account link.
