Add the TOK Exhibition and TOK Essay templates in Settings > IB Diploma > Project-based Learning, then tick them under Templates in Edit Year Group Settings. Enable Theory of Knowledge as a subject and create a TOK class so students can be added.

Configuring and enabling TOK worksheets
For DP coordinators setting up the TOK Exhibition and TOK Essay worksheets for a year group.

Add and customise the TOK templates

Go to Settings > IB Diploma > Project-based Learning and select Pre-built Templates.
Add the TOK Exhibition or TOK Essay template.

Open the template to customise its Overview, Framework, Rubric, Forms and Terminology.
Avoid deleting sections from the pre-built TOK templates. Removing them can leave out components the IB requires.
Turn on TOK for a year group

Open the year group and select Edit Year Group Settings.

Under Templates, tick TOK Exhibition and TOK Essay, then save your changes.
Enable TOK as a subject and create a class

In Settings > IB Diploma > Subjects, enable Theory of Knowledge.

Go to Classes > Add Class. Choose the IB Diploma programme and the Theory of Knowledge subject.
Assign the academic terms and add students to the class.
Find your way around a student's TOK workspace
Open the year group, select TOK Essay or TOK Exhibition, then select a student from the roster.

| Progress | View and update the student's overall progress from the list. |
| Prescribed Title or IA Prompt | Check the current TOK Essay title or Exhibition prompt, or switch to another. Titles and prompts are updated each year. |
| Deadlines & To-dos | See all TOK deadlines. Create new ones with Add Deadline on the TOK roster, then assign To-dos. |
| Documents | Upload and open TOK files, including submissions to deadlines. |
| Notes & Interviews | Add notes, log meetings and message the student. |
Encourage students to use the workspace for ongoing reflection.
