ManageBac+ eCoursework Dashboard

ManageBac+ now includes a centralized eCoursework Dashboard that gives coordinators, homeroom advisors, and teachers a unified view of IB coursework submission progress across IA, EA, and CORE requirements.

Schools can now monitor Internal Assessments (IA), External Assessments (EA), and CORE components from a single dashboard view, helping identify missing submissions and at-risk students earlier in the school year.

The new workflow also introduces IB upload requirement linking, allowing students and teachers to map uploaded files directly to IB submission requirements. This creates a clear audit trail and improves submission readiness before IBIS deadlines.

Overview

The new eCoursework Dashboard centralizes IA, EA, and CORE progress into a single roster view for DP Coordinators (DPCs), administrators, and homeroom advisors.

The dashboard displays student submission status across subjects and requirements, including:

  • Pending submissions
  • Submitted requirements
  • Overdue coursework
  • CORE completion tracking
  • Submission coverage by subject and requirement

This feature reduces the need for coordinators to manually compile submission data from spreadsheets, teacher check-ins, and multiple pages across the platform. Schools can now monitor student IB coursework readiness from a single centralized dashboard with role-based visibility controls. To fully utilize the dashboard, schools should begin using the IB upload requirement linking workflow when collecting eCoursework submissions.

What's New

  • Centralized eCoursework Dashboard for IA, EA, and CORE tracking
  • Student file linking to IB upload requirements
  • Teacher visibility into final submission coverage

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the dashboard submit coursework directly to the IB?

No. Schools must still complete the official IBIS submission workflow separately.

Who can access the eCoursework Dashboard?

Access depends on role-based permissions configured by the school. Administrators and DPCs can view all students, while homeroom advisors can view only assigned students.

What do the dashboard status icons mean?

Pending indicates submissions are incomplete but before the deadline. Submitted means all required files are linked. Overdue means the deadline has passed without complete submission coverage.

Can students remove linked files?

No. Once linked, files are locked and require teacher intervention to unlink or reassign.

What happens if students upload the wrong file type?

The system validates uploaded file types against IB requirement rules and prevents incorrect file formats from being linked.

Is this feature enabled automatically?

Yes. The eCoursework Dashboard is available automatically at no additional cost, but schools should begin using the upload requirement linking workflow to fully benefit from it.

In Summary

  • The eCoursework Dashboard centralizes IA, EA, and CORE submission tracking into one unified view.
  • Students and teachers can now link uploaded files directly to IB upload requirements.
  • Schools gain earlier visibility into at-risk submissions and reduce manual coordination workload.

The new eCoursework workflow helps schools manage high-stakes IB submission processes more efficiently within ManageBac+.
