Go to Year Groups and open the CE tab (some schools still show SA) to see your worksheet. Depending on what your school has switched on, you can track your experiences with the Progress chart and the Timeline.
For MYP students who want to check their Community Engagement experiences against the learning outcomes.
ManageBac+ now uses Community Engagement in place of Service as Action (SA). Some screenshots and labels in this guide still show the old name, and your school may still show Service as Action or SA. The steps are the same. If you are not sure which one your school uses, ask your coordinator.
Open your Community Engagement worksheet
Select Year Groups in the left menu, then the CE tab. Some schools still show SA.
Your worksheet has tools to help you keep track of the experiences you have added. Depending on what your school has enabled, you can browse experiences and reflections by:
- Progress
- Timeline
Check your progress
The Progress section, below your experiences on the worksheet, shows how many times each learning outcome has been selected during your Community Engagement programme.
| What you see | What it means |
|---|---|
| Orange bars | Outcomes from experiences that have been planned and approved. |
| Green bars | Experiences with completed reflections that target those outcomes. |
| Number in black, bottom left | Your total number of reflections. |
As you add experiences, the orange bars grow. As you add reflections and answer Community Engagement questions, they turn green.
Orange left in the chart means some outcomes you selected do not have a matching reflection or evidence yet.
View the activity timeline
Select Timeline next to Experiences to see how long each experience lasts and what type of experience it is.
To zoom in, select a bar and drag your mouse over the area you want to see. The timeline zooms in to that section.
