Overview

Important

In ManageBac+, Teachers and Advisors refer to the same user role. The terminology varies between schools. Teacher permissions can be customised by your school's administrator through Settings.

Signing in and accessing your account

Use the following resources to access your account securely and resolve common login issues.

Can't find your school's account?

Visit the ManageBac+ login page and sign in using your ManageBac+ email address.

Navigating ManageBac+

Your Dashboard is the default landing page and displays personalised information based on your assigned year groups, classes and groups. From here you can quickly access your calendar, upcoming tasks and teaching responsibilities.

The global search bar and the Quick Add menu are available from any page, allowing you to quickly find content or create new items.

Teaching and classroom management

Most classes are created by your school's administrators before the academic year begins. If your school requires teachers to create their own classes, review the setup guidance before getting started.

Each class includes a consistent set of tabs such as Overview, Tasks & Units, Gradebook, Discussions, Calendar, Files and Members. Additional tabs may appear depending on your school's configuration and academic programme.

Project advisors

If your school uses project-based programmes, you may also be assigned as a project advisor or supervisor. Projects are accessed through the relevant Year Group, where your assigned students will appear automatically.

User management

Teachers can manage their own account through the profile menu. Depending on permissions configured by your school, you may also be able to assist students and parents with account access.
