Quick answer:

If a lockdown app submission is missing or fails, the student's responses may still be saved on their device. Retrieve the response files and send them to ManageBac+ Support so the responses can be recovered.

For teachers and IT teams when a student's offline AssessPrep exam submission is missing or fails.

On Windows

The response files are saved in this folder on the student's computer:

C:\Program Files (x86)\AssessPrep Inc\AssessPrep\

Copy the files from this folder.

On Mac

A retrieval script saves the response file (an SQLite file) to the desktop. Contact ManageBac+ Support to get the script.

Send the files to Support

Submit a request and attach the response files, with the student's name, the test name and the date of the test. Support uses the files to recover the responses.

⚠️ Important

Do not uninstall the lockdown app or delete files on the device until the files have been retrieved.
