Quick answer

Your child's day is on My Workspace. Select Calendar in the left menu for the full calendar and Subscribe to Calendar. If your school uses ManageBac+ attendance, open Academic Profile > Attendance & Timetable for the timetable, attendance and Submit Attendance Excusal.

Attendance and the timetable only appear if your school uses ManageBac+ for attendance. If you have more than one child, choose the child at the top of the page first.

On My Workspace

Daily Calendar shows your child's events, tasks and deadlines for the day. Use the arrows to move between days and View All for the full calendar.

The full calendar

Select Calendar in the left menu. Switch between Month and Week, and use Filters to show only some classes or categories.

Select Subscribe to Calendar to add your child's deadlines and events to Google Calendar, Outlook, Apple Calendar or another calendar app. If you have more than one child, choose each child at the top and subscribe to each calendar.

Attendance and timetable

Select Academic Profile in the left menu, then the Attendance & Timetable tab. The timetable shows each period with its attendance status, and any attendance excusals at the top. Use the date picker and arrows to change week, 3 Days or Week to change the view, and Export to PDF to download the week.

Select a class in the timetable to see its teachers, period, time and upcoming lessons and tasks, and to email the teachers.

The Details panel on the right shows the Homeroom Attendance chart for the term and the Weekly Class Attendance legend and tally. Colours match the timetable blocks: green for present, orange for late, red for absent and grey for not yet recorded.

The Members panel lists your child's homeroom advisor and other key contacts.

Submit an attendance excusal

If your school allows it, select Submit Attendance Excusal on the Attendance & Timetable tab, or Excusal Request on My Workspace. Choose the days your child will be away, give a reason and submit. Only one excusal is allowed per day.

To change an excusal you have submitted, select it on the timetable to see its details and edit it.

If the school emails you when your child is absent from homeroom, the email has a link to the excusal page. If you sent an excusal before the email, the email includes your note.
