What the grades and comments on a report card mean, and where to find them

Your school decides what goes on its report cards, so every school's report looks a little different. This guide explains the parts most report cards share and what to do if something looks wrong.

Where to find report cards

  1. Open your child's profileSelect Academic Profile > Reports. If you have more than one child, choose the right child first.
  2. Choose the year or termReports are grouped by academic year. Use the drop-down to see earlier years.
  3. Preview or downloadSelect the three dots to Preview the web version or Download the PDF.
In the Reports section, you can find a list of generated report cards organized by academic year

What you will usually see

  • Term grade

The final grade your child's teacher gives for the term in each class.

  • Teacher comments

A short summary of progress and next steps from each teacher.

  • Other criteria

Some schools add effort, participation or approaches to learning.

  • Attendance

Some schools show attendance on the report, often on the cover page.

From the My Workspace page, you will see an overview of your child's classes
📝 Note

Report cards only appear if your school uses ManageBac+ for reports and has generated them for that term. Task grades during the term can be seen in each class under Tasks.

🙋 FAQ

Something on the report is wrong. Who do I contact?

Contact a key contact at your school, such as your child's homeroom advisor. ManageBac+ support cannot change grades or report content.

Why is there no report for this term yet?

Your school may not have generated or shared it yet.

Will I always be able to see old reports?

Only while your child is at a school that uses ManageBac+ reports. Download PDF copies to keep, as accounts are often archived when students leave.
