Quick answer

Download the ManageBac+ app from the App Store or Google Play and sign in with your school account. Teachers, students, coordinators and parents can all use it.

Get started with the ManageBac+ app

The ManageBac+ app for iPhone, iPad and Android works for students, parents, teachers, coordinators and admins in every programme. Sign in once in a browser, then use the app for deadlines, portfolios, attendance, messages, CAS and more.

1. Get the app and sign in

  1. Set your password firstIf you have never signed in to ManageBac+, sign in once in a web browser to set your password. The app cannot do this step.
  2. Download the appGet ManageBac+ from the App Store or Google Play.

  3. Enter your emailUse the email address linked to your ManageBac+ account.

💡 Cannot sign in?

Check you are using the email your school has on file, and reset your password in a browser if needed. If your school uses Google, Microsoft or Faria single sign-on, use the same option in the app. See Accessing your account if you are still stuck.

2. Find your way around

Tap To
Home Open your menu. Switch it between tiles and a list.
Me Edit your profile and settings, and find help tutorials.
Notifications See notifications. Use the three dots for Notification Preferences.
Quick Add (+) Teachers and admins: create a unit or task, post a message or upload files. Students: add journal entries and portfolio items.
Search Find users, classes, groups, files, units, tasks, resources, activities and projects.

4. Choose your notifications

  1. Open preferencesGo to Me > Account Settings > Notification Preferences, or tap Notifications, then the three dots > Notification Preferences.

  2. ChooseTurn items on or off in the Mobile Notifications column, then tap Save Changes.

5. Write and add content

The text editor lets you format text, change fonts, insert files, photos, videos, links and tables, and write right to left.

Use Quick Add in the bottom toolbar to add content without opening a class first.

6. Scan handwritten coursework (iOS)

Tap Scan Coursework in the menu to scan paper work straight into a portfolio or task submission.
