Submitting Attendance Excusals

Note: You can't see the Submit Attendance Excusal button and your historical attendance excusals if your school chooses to disable this function.

If the function is enabled, on the student's Attendance & Timetable page, click Submit Attendance Excusal.

Note: The Attendance Excusal can also be submitted via the Dashboard

This will allow you to indicate the days when your child will be absent, and it will allow you to provide a reason (e.g. a 10-day trip). After you click Submit, it will be shared with the assigned Homeroom Advisor and emailed to your school's Administrators.

To edit the excusal, once submitted, hover the "i" icon of the attendance excusal label to see the full details for this Excusal. Click Edit Attendance Excusal to make changes to the duration or description of it or Delete the Attendance Excusal

Please Note: Attendance Excusals cannot overlap. Only one Excusal per day is allowed.

If your child's school sends Homeroom Absence notifications to parents via email, you can also access the Attendance Excusal page from the link in the Homeroom Absence notification email via the 'click here' link.
