Updating your Landing Page Preferences

Once you have logged in successfully, you will be taken to your landing page. This will be the My Workspace page by default. 

Users are able to select a default landing page so that they are automatically directed to a specific page in ManageBac+ upon logging in. This can be set within your profile settings or by clicking on your Profile Avatar > Personalisation > Landing Page.

 

Editing Personal Information

Via Your Profile icon > Manage Your Profile

Once you have logged in successfully, you can update your personal information, including student photo, e-mail address and password by clicking on your photo in the upper right corner of your ManageBac+ account. Here you can click on Manage Your Profile and Edit Profile  to edit your personal information.

Note:  You will not be able to edit your personal information if student profiles have been locked by your ManageBac+ administrator. If this is the case, we recommend you get in touch with an administrator/advisor from your Key Contacts list, found on the right-hand side of your dashboard. 

 

Updating your E-mail

Update your e-mail address in the E-mail field. An email will be sent to the updated e-mail address for confirmation. Please check your inbox to validate your e-mail.

 

Changing your Password

From your Profile page, click Change password to update your password. This is the password you use to access your ManageBac+ account.

Students can also reset their password from the login page. By clicking on Forgot your password?, the user will be prompted to enter the e-mail address associated with their ManageBac+ account. An email will be sent with instructions on how to reset the password.

Changing your account theme 

Via Profile Photo > Personalisation >Themes

You can change the theme of your ManageBac+ account via your Profile Photo > Personalisation > Themes. By default, all user themes will default to dark blue or a school-selected theme. 

 

Setting your Message notification Preferences

Notifications & Emails

Your personal notifications can be found by clicking on the bell icon in the top right corner, next to your profile icon.

Click Notification Preferences in your User Profile to see and adjust your notification settings.

Here you can choose whether to receive notifications and/or emails regarding a variety of features on ManageBac+.

  • Enabling Web Notifications will send notifications to your ManageBac+ notifications area, which can be accessed via the Mail icon next to your name.
  • Enabling E-mails will send notifications to the e-mail address associated with your ManageBac+ account.
  • Enabling Mobile Notifications will send notifications to your mobile device if you have downloaded the ManageBac+ app.
  • When you have finished making changes to your notification preferences, click Save Preferences.  

Weekly Classes Digest is available and students can select how they want to be notified about Classwork for the upcoming week. 

This weekly digest will provide students with a summary of tasks & deadlines that are due the following week. This digest will also include a summary of upcoming Online Lessons. From this digest, students will be able to submit their coursework, join Online Lessons, view task & deadline due dates, and view all coursework that has been submitted for the upcoming week.
