Configuring non-IB Academic Terms


Via Settings, Academic Terms

Non-IB academic terms are configured by programme. Select either High School, Middle School or Primary School, then click Configure New Academic Year.

As the academic term dates are not visible to students or parents, but are used to group tasks/assignments/units within the gradebook, we recommend they are set to be continuous (i.e. they should be inclusive of your school holidays in order to avoid gaps between terms). 

Please note: When the new academic year becomes "Current", your tasks that fall within those dates will display in the unit planners. 

Add Terms

Name your academic terms, set the start and end dates. Add additional terms in the year via Add New Term. Once ready, click Add Term Set to Save Changes.

Ticking "Restrict teachers from making any changes to term grades" will gradebooks. This can be used to prevent teachers from entering grades in the wrong term, or to prevent changes to grades and comments during proofing / reporting periods. (Please note: Admin's will still have rights to edit the gradebooks directly).
