Adding an Investigation


Adding an investigation via the IA tab

You can add a new investigation by clicking Add Investigation under the IA tab of your Group 4 class.

You will be directed to a form, where you should give the investigation a title and topic (required fields), type, and level. You can also chose to Exclude Grades from PSOW and designate a location.

After filling in some details about the investigation, choose whether you would like to Enable Dropbox and allow students to upload their lab reports. Additionally, if your TurnItIn account has been integrated with your ManageBac account, and if you enabled Dropbox for this investigation, you can use TurnItIn to automatically check the originality scores of your students’ lab reports.

Indicate the date, time, and duration of the investigation. You can also attach a file (or files), such as instructions sheet or calculation table, but clicking Choose File.

When all information is complete, click Add Investigation.
