Viewing Upcoming & Completed Tasks
Via the Tasks & Deadlines tab
Navigate to Tasks & Deadlines on the left menu. There you will see all upcoming, past & completed tasks from the various classes & cohort years you are a part of. You can filter by class or cohort year on the right:
- Upcoming and Completed tasks separated into two sections.
- Students can filter tasks and deadlines by class or cohort year.
- For completed tasks the grades are shown when they are posted by the teacher.
- The show more link will show the next five available tasks and deadlines.
Via the Classes Tab
Navigate to Classes > Select your Class > click Tasks. Below your Progress Chart you'll find upcoming assignments as well as the completed assignments.
Uploading Coursework Submissions to your Task dropbox
After clicking on a task, you'll be able to see further information about the task.
If your teacher wants you to submit the task online, the 'Dropbox' headings will appear on the page. Click on Choose file to select a file from your computer. Click Upload Files to send them to your teacher. You can also see the files you have uploaded for your assignments here. Select Google Upload button if your school has Google Drive uploads enabled to select a file directly from your GDrive folder.
Likewise, if your teacher wants you to submit the assignment through Google Coursework Submission, the heading will appear on the page.
Completing Google Doc Tasks
Accessing the GDoc Editor
Navigate to Class > Tasks & Units > Task and click on the GDoc template title linked to the Task.
On the Google Docs tab you are able to use the Google Editor to make instant changes to your document.
Once your assignment is complete go ahead and click Submit Coursework so your document can be annotated via the Annotations tab. Make sure to complete and complete your assignment before the deadline because your editing permissions will be removed from the document after the due date.
If there were multiple submissions each version can be accessed using the submission dropdown. On this screen you are able to add annotation and reply to annotations made by your teacher.
If you're having trouble accessing the Google Templates on AtlasNext, please first log in to your Google account in the browser on the device that you are using. When refreshing the Task page on AtlasNext, you should then be able to access the Google Templates.
