Users whose ManageBac accounts are connected to Clever can use Sign-in with Clever to access ManageBac, if this functionality is enabled by the school's ManageBac administrator.
Via Settings > Integrations > Partners > Clever
An admin on your account can request to enable Login with Google by navigating to Settings > Integrations > Partners and clicking Clever SSO.
Click Request Integration and confirm Yes in the pop-up prompt, to confirm your school's interest in enabling this feature. Below you will also find an example of what this will look like for your users when they attempt to login to ManageBac via Sign-in with Clever.
Once clicked, the button will change to Waiting for Integration and your school's ManageBac Account Manager will be in touch within 24 hrs to confirm your interest in enabling single sign-on for Clever
Setting up Clever Single Sign-on
Once the Account Manager has enabled Clever SSO, customers will be able to navigate to Settings > Partners > Clever SSO and provide required information.
Enter your school’s Clever District ID and School ID. Click Save Changes to enable SSO via Clever.
Sharing settings within Clever
Either before enabling or after enabling, please use the Clever application and adjust Sharing Rules from within Clever. We recommend that only those students who will need to login to ManageBac are shared with the ManageBac application.
Logging In via Clever SSO
Once the integration has been enabled, and student records have been shared with the application, end users will be able to login to ManageBac with their Clever credentials.
Step 1: Select Sign-in with Clever on the ManageBac login screen.
Step 2: Complete the authentication via Clever by either:
- Scanning your Clever Badge using your webcam.
- Searching for your school and then following the available login methods.
- Choosing to login as a Parent or District Admin using your Clever credentials
