To move a student, you will first need to remove the student from their original year group. Via the Members tab of the original year group, you can remove the student from the group by clicking Remove from Group next to their name.
To add a student to a new year group, navigate to the new year group under the IB Manager menu. Via the Members tab, click Add members to browse or search for a student. Click the checkbox next to the desired student's name, then Add Selected Student. The student will now be assigned to the new year group.
Alternatively, you can reassign the student via Settings > School Directory > Memberships.
To remove a student, use the dropdown under IB Groups to locate the student's original year group. Check the box next to the left or "remove" on the right of their name. Click Confirm Assignments.
To add a student, select the student's new year group under the IB Groups dropdown. Under Available Students, select Not in any IB group. Check the box next to the left of their name. Click the arrow on the centre of the page, Confirm Assignments.
Note: This method can also be used to add or remove students from classes and activity groups
